CFN ISLANDER & SERIES 1000 CARD READER RETROFIT INSTRUCTIONS

This sheet details the installation of a new card reader into an existing Islander or Series 1000 system. The photos

shown below represent before and after views of an Islander system. Note that the cover assembly is not used in

the new installation. The reader installation will look similar in your Series 1000 system.

IMPORTANT FOR SERIES 1000: This kit works only with Series 1000 versions 3 or later. To check your

version: At the Series 1000 data terminal, type the PR command at the asterisk prompt. The version,

program name and date displays. If your version is 1 or 2, consult your distributor before proceeding.
